I am a wildlife photographer and videographer, based in the West of Ireland. My approach to photography is to capture wildlife in its natural setting while studying its behaviours and way of life. I avoid national parks, professional hides, and feeding wildlife. This involves time, patience and persistence, sitting for long hours, days and months trying to get close so that each image carries a sense of rapport and mutual understanding. The journey is the reward; nature becomes a teacher, creation speaks, and in the stillness indifference dissipates.
