WILDLIFE in the plain of the yew tree is a book of photography of Ireland's wildlife taken exclusively in the West of Ireland, in County Mayo. The objective was to capture the wildlife in a local area, around Lough Mask, images of wildlife in their natural habitat, completely wild, with the use of a basic camera and lens. This requires the skill of tracking and camouflage, gaining insight into their behaviours, learning from them, building rapport reflected in the photographic image, demonstrating that we don’t need the best equipment to capture their existence. The joy is experiencing nature. I hope this book captures my vision.
